World AIDS Day 2020
Today is World AIDs Day, which was designated to be held every day since the 1st December 1988, its a global day where the global community come together to raise awareness of the AIDs pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection, in which we remember those in the community taken to soon and celebrate the progress and strides being made to put and end to AIDs. Collectively on this day we have joined together with other Global organisations and networks ; Gate, Global Network of People Living with HIV (GNP+), Global Network of Sex Work Projects (NSWP), Global Network of Young People Living with HIV (Y-Plus), A Global Network of Trans Women and HIV (IRGT), International Community of Women Living with HIV (ICW) & MPACT Global Action For Gay Men's Health & Rights. We share this joint statement calling upon global policy makers and donors to centre 'Key Populations' in the Global HIV Response. To read our 'joint statement' this can be found below.
