24 July 2014
from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM (AEST) - Melbourne, Australia

You are invited to the event of the AIDS 2014 Conference! People who use drugs from around the world are holding an event to celebrate and acknowledge almost 3 decades and counting of drug user activism in the response to HIV/AIDS. The 20th International AIDS Conference in 2014 is being held in Melbourne, Australia - we will be there, and we’d like you to join us! The event will include the launch of a new film “We are drug users” - a film exploring the contribution made by drug using communities and drug user organisations across the world – as seen ‘through our eyes’. There will be the PREMIERE of our GLOBAL COMMUNITY FILM, SPEECHES BY KEY DRUG USER ACTIVISTS, TALKING, MUSIC, DANCING, EATING, DRINKING, and general celebration of the ground breaking work we are achieving together. This is THE opportunity of the conference to meet, talk and share with drug user activists from around the world. If you care about the rights and health of people who use drugs don’t miss this event!

Sir Richard Branson will also deliver a personalised video message of support on the night! Places are extremely limited and your place will not be reserved unless you have RSVP’d in advance. RSVP here.
